 Bill Demong learned the sport in Lake Placid. In 2010 he won the USA's first Olympic gold medal in any Nordic skiing discipline, as he won the Large Hill Nordic Combined event at the Vacouver Games. The Team concentrated on the Olympics and it paid off with four medals!
