Lake Placid Masters 90 Meter Ski Jump
December 30, 2009
The 55th Annual Lake Placid Masters Ski Jump, hosted by ORDA, was the second event in a week of Nordic Ski competition in Lake Placid. The Masters jumping was held on Wednesday evening, December 30, under the lights.

This was the third and final event in the 2009 Art Devlin Cup series. The top point-scorer in the three big Lake Placid ski jump competitions: the Fourth of July competiton, the Columbus Day Flaming Leaves jump, and the New Years Masters, has his name engraved on the big silver cup created to remember the great ski jumper of the 1940's and 50's, Art Devlin who lived his entire life in Lake Placid and never missed an opportunity to say a good word about his hometown. In June of 2008, a bronze statue of Devlin was unveiled and dedicated by the side of the big-hill outrun.
